Purrfect Talker loves cats! Actually, we LOVE, LOVE, LOVE cats.
raised cats, read hundreds of books on cat behavior, cat nutrition, cat mainentance,
and we'veheld many conversations with our own cats through observation.
We have spent thousands of hours on cat chat boards, learning about
cats, cats, cats; we've spent thousands of hours
doing internet research.
We've had cat viewpoints explained through work with
internationally known cat communicators.
Purrfect Talker's own cats have been very helpful in
explaining what they want, what hurts, what they need, how they feel,
and what they think of us!
We use many behavior tricks and techniques to get their cooperation.
We sometimes recommend Flower Essences and other Alternative Therapies
After years of being trained by them,
we finally have a good idea of what is important and
as well as their physical maintenance, we ventured into alternative healing,
working with flower essences, massage, and T-Touch.
Cats can be affected by emotional issues such as depression, terror, fear, and anxiety,
just as happens to humans.
Our cats changed our world, leading us
where we had no idea we wanted to go.
We will be forever grateful for the love, affection, understanding and assistance they gave us .
There are so many cat tragedies, though.
The kitty comes out into the world, is usually taken away
from it's mother too young, misbehaves, the human becomes upset,
the cat goes to a shelter, is taken out to another home,
and goes back to the shelter when the cat and human
are not "talking" to each other.
We started this website to try to help with the problems that are causing stress
between the family members, just like any human family counselor.
We have taken what we have learned in psychology classes
and in a teaching and counseling background and we can often apply it to
the cat-human situation.
Cats provide us with friendship, companionship, comfort, support,
and they forgive us and like us even when we aren't at our finest.
All those are gifts they can give to us, if we allow them, and
understand them to be--
not humans--but cats.
